A native New Yorker and longtime Upper West Sider, Stephanie is author of the award-winning book Heaven on the Hudson: Mansions, Monuments, and Marvels of Riverside Park. Her unique walking tours of Riverside Park and Riverside Drive provide an expert introduction to the history, architecture and people of an area that most visitors – and New Yorkers -- know little about. The walks cover the neighborhood from Colonial times to the Gilded Age to the days of Robert Moses to the present. Her upcoming second book, Fabulous Fountains of New York, also highlights Riverside sights. Stephanie enjoys giving small, customized private tours as well as sharing the delights of the town she loves with large groups. She has also given numerous formal talks about Riverside Park and Drive to history groups and other organizations around the city.
