About:

George is an historian and presenter, who put his BA in history from New Mexico Highlands University to good use for over 30 years working as an interpretive park ranger for the National Park Service. He has worked at multiple National Parks in the tri-state area, including Hamilton Grange National Memorial and Federal Hall National Memorial.

During his time with the National Park Service he led various tours and special events and performed in revolutionary war reenactments. George had the opportunity to be the MC for the ceremony commemorating the establishment of the U.S Coast Guard founding, which was on C-Span, and was invited to be an expert on a panel discussion about Hamilton Grange National Memorial’s grand opening at the Museum of American Finance.

When not researching history, he’s an avid sports fan.

Special Tours:

This tour will start at the Battery to recall how Alexander Hamilton envisioned modern America and the seat of the nation’s financial power more accurately than any other Founding Father.  How the events of the American Revolution and the toll New York paid for Independence during the war, would influence Hamilton a migrant from the West Indies to the right hand of George Washington himself.

We will discuss the creation of the Federal Government of the United States as well as numerous other events that took place around the financial district of New York City that relate to Alexander Hamilton. The tour will end at Trinity Church to pay tribute and respect to the Hamiltons at their final resting place. The tour celebrates the life and work of America's most accomplished and complex Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton.
