GANYC Honored by NYSTIA

This past Fall, the New York State Tourism Industry Association (NYSTIA) held its annual New York State Tourism Excellence Awards, in Saratoga Springs. GANYC's Education and Industry Relations Committees were the winner for 'Excellence in Overall Tourism Marketing: Regional or Statewide - Budget under $500,000'.

We were regrettably unable to attend that event, but Kelly Curtin (Executive Vice President of  New York City Tourism + Conventions) went and accepted the award on our behalf. At our January meeting, she presented the award to GANYC representatives.

We thank Ms. Curtin for this, and thank NYSTIA for recognizing the hard work GANYC's volunteers do to represent tourism in New York.
